Bob has heard the concerns of Edgware residents who are rightly anxious at the prospect of 29 towers being built on the Edgware Broadwalk and Town Centre. This must be stopped. The proposals seek to build a cluster of high-rises, with 13 towers 20+ storeys and 1 tower block reaching 29-storeys! For comparison, the Wealdstone Towers only reach around 17-storeys, yet Edgware would have 15 towers taller than that!
IMPACT
This will radically change Edgware’s landscape, adding more pressure to already strained local services. Many residents have contacted Bob previously with problems caused by overdevelopment – adding 4,000 flats will only make things worse. In response to this, Bob has recently launched a campaign against the development and to ensure that the voice of residents is listened to by both the planning committee and the Mayor of London.
