Save Stanmore and Canons Park station car parks - Sign my petition

The Mayor of London has planned to reduce car park spaces at Stanmore to 300 from the current 450, and leaving just 60 at Canons Park. This would cause disruption to commuters who depend on those car parking facilities. Local infrastructure would have real problems accommodating so many new dwellings in an area where the roads are already congested. Stanmore is, effectively, the car park for Wembley Stadium and the terminus of the Jubilee Line. Actually, we need more car parking spaces to take the pressure off residential streets.

I am campaigning against the plans. We need to build more homes; but the scale of this proposal is wrong for the local area, and loss of commuter parking spaces is not acceptable.

Please show your opposition to these plans by signing my petition.

The more signatures I can present, the stronger our case!

Petition to stop flats being built on Stanmore and Canons Park station's car parks

The Mayor of London and TFL's plans to build blocks of flats on Stanmore and Canons Park station car parks are inappropriate for our neighbourhood.
