Bob Blackman wins £500 to St Luke's Hospice

At Conservative Party Conference, Bob Blackman was invited by Homes for Later Living to play a game of Speed Chess for charity. The aim of the game was to survive by maintaining a winning position for the duration of the game.

Bob Blackman attended a tribute to Gena Turgel. Gena Turgel was one of the last Holocaust survivors and those who attended her tribute included the Holocaust Educational trust, Mizrachi UK and many politicians across the political spectrum such as Ed Balls and Sir Eric Pickles.

 

Work Experience Team with Bob Blackman - August 2019

As the two weeks with Bob's Harrow East work experience team drew to a close, they had the chance to visit the House of Commons for a tour of the Palace of Westminster by Bob, followed by an exciting visit to 10 Downing Street - a well-deserved treat after all of their hard work!

It's always a pleasure for Bob to visit Kum Kum Temple and to join the celebrations of the 6th Patotsav - the 6th anniversary of the consecration of this Mandir. He was there with Councillors Paul Osborn, Nitesh Hirani, John Hinkley, Ramji Chauhan, Anjana Patel, and Jean Lammiman.

Bob was pleased to visit NCS at Stanmore College to answer the young people's questions on life as an MP and political issues. They taught him a thing or two as well as 6 groups made presentations about their social action projects tackling pressing concerns like dementia and homelessness.
