Bob hosts House of Commons briefing on eradicating polio

Bob was honoured to host a House of Commons briefing on the eradication of polio, organised by Rotary International. The event featured a range of guest speakers, with the huge effort required to defeat the disease in Afghanistan and Pakistan particularly evident.

Bob speaks at the Crisis Homelessness Prevention Conference

Bob was pleased to attend the Crisis Homelessness Prevention Conference, where he reviewed his Homelessness Reduction Act and the impact of legislation on preventing homelessness. He also argued for the need to build 90,000 new social homes per year and the creation of a housing first policy.

Bob was pleased to attend an event held by Crisis, the UK national charity for homeless people, in Westminster to discuss what further action and policies need to be taken to tackle homelessness.

Bob elected to the Conservative Party Board

Bob is delighted to have been elected to represent his fellow Conservative MPs on the Conservative Party Board. He recognises that there is a lot of important work ahead, and looks forward to tackling issues including finances, boundary changes and re-selection processes.
